Why are UK family courts so biased against men?

After 5 yrs of fighting a terrible divorce in court in the UK I can firmly say that there appears to be no more biased legal system in the developed world as far as men are concerned. I'm interested to know why people think this might be? I know there are isolated cases here and there but I can state with absolute conviction that if a woman decides to play dirty (my ex did and I acknowledge many/most don't) then as a man you have zero to no chance of any equity split or access to your children. We are not talking about what the law states but rather how it is enforced, 'official advice' that guides judges towards the womans viewpoint despite how irrational or unfair that is to both children and the man. I won't go into the full story but I'm looking for someone to make some sense of this so that I can understand it, it's basis and to finally put this matter to rest. It's driving me nuts that as a white middle class male in the UK I seemingly have no rights at all.|||The courts do nothing for us. the only right I seem to have is to pay copious amounts of money to my ex while she denies me access and makes the kids think i am doing something terrible (which I never have).

You have my deepest sympathy.|||It is the same in the US. The joke here for men is "Don't get a divorce, it is cheaper to keep her." I believe that the bias must have started with the feminist movement. Here in the US there are Father's Rights Groups. Maybe there is one in the UK?|||get on wiith your life|||Look at the headgear of the judges in UK, it looks like women's hair! No wonder they always favor the women.
