Can you use a regular credit card and still pay the 12 month payment plan at Walmart?

I want to buy a laptop from Walmart, I'm only 15 so i don't have a job yet. I've heard that if you have a Walmart credit card than you can buy the laptop and make payments on it. Can you still make payments with other non-Walmart credit cards? If so, how long do you have to pay it off?|||You can take as long as 15 years to pay for an item on a credit card.

It is your choice.

Remember that you will be charged interst as high as 29%.

This will make the laptop about 5 times the cost over the long run.

You can only get a credit card if you are over the age of 21.

You will have to ask your mom to buy it for you.

Hopefully she will not pay for it over time.

Putting something on credit and paying it over time is a good way to ruin credit.

For best credit, you can charge a laptop to the card, but pay it in full when you get the bill in the mail the next month.

Keep in mind that employers check credit, so do landlords, and car insurance companies (she'll pay more). By carrying balances you could be doing damage to her credit and her life.

/|||That is what a credit card it. You make a purchase and pay it back monthly. Problem is you pay interest on that money. Computer is 1000 and you pay $25 in interest every month. Save money and pay cash
