What is the best first credit card to get for an 18 year old to start building credit?

What is a good starter credit card for that purpose?|||The new Credit Card Act which went into effect in February 2010, prohibits people under age 21 from getting a credit card without one of the following: 1) Parent/Guardian as a co-signer or 2) verifiable income that is sufficient to cover the minimum monthly payment on the card. If you meet the criteria, go to bankrate.com to look for a good credit card.

Good luck! Hope this helps.|||Start with a gasoline credit card and pay it off regularly.|||Any one will do. they each have different types of rebates, some cash, some ariline points...|||Anyone your parent is willing to cosign for. At 18 you need a parent to guarantee payment
