I made my iTunes account without a credit card but i can't remember how i did it. I need to make one for a friend and i don't know his credit card number or any of that. How do i make the account without a credit card?|||There is a Payment Method of "None". It will allow you to download free items only, but nothing that has a charge.|||Apparently you can just select "None" as the payment method and move forward
I don't remember that option but I created my account over 2 years ago so maybe it's new. I did it with an iTunes card. Just go buy a basic $15 card and try to redeem it and then the card code will be supplemented for payment method and you're set|||You to the iTunes store and you click on a FREE app then you go to "create new account" then you fill in all the info. and by the credit card selection click on none. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2534 This link has all the directions on how to do it.|||Try to download a free app, then it will say to either sign in or create an account. Choose create an account and it won't ask you for your credit card because the app is free :]
