One of the characters in my book is a disgustingly rich attorney in New York, with a penthouse opposite Central Park and the usual usual... What would be the most prestigious credit card he would use (and also show off) in the 80s, ex. 1983?
Many thanks for your time.|||American Express Gold card.|||It would be an Amex card. Back in the day they used to require you to make a certain amount of money before you could have one. I hear now they have a card reserved for those who spend over 150,000 on one of their other cards.
