I need to build credit for my business, but I need a business credit card.
I have no personal credit history yet, since I've only been here for 3 years, what do I do?|||You don't.|||Nothing. Lenders won't lend to a brand new business. They will lend to the owner, but only if you have good credit of your own.|||Have you tried to apply for a card? That's your first step. Try:
Ink Blue Cash Business by Chase
Simply Cash, by Amex - Open
Bank of America, business card
Citi Business World card
There are sites to help you find business cards such as
Bankrate.com, credit cards. com, nerd wallet.com
For good credit, make sure you pay that credit card in full each month.
Absolutely no games of carring balances which can easily destroy credit|||Ask your bank about a secured credit card. Different than a prepaid card, a secured card works exactly like a real credit card, and it builds your credit like a real credit card. The difference is that you have to deposit money up front to cover your credit limit.
Of course, this only works if you have money and you just want the card for convenience and building credit. If you need to actually borrow money, you'll probably have to look somewhere other than banks that this point. Maybe friends and family members if it's a good business opportunity.
